I'd love to live in a forest roomWith moss beneath my feet,And the ceiling made of leafy greenWhere boughs of pine trees meet.
The lighting I'd like indirest
Just sunlight trickling through,
And here and there between the leaves,
A patch of Heaven's blue.
Oh, I'd love a little forest room
With walls of roughened bark,
And my only entertainment
Just the sweet song of the lark.
I'd let the whole world pass me by
And live a life serene,
With all the things I'd ever need -
Just God and sky and green.
